Ready to be trusted with your club’s data

Member records, safeguarding notes, medical details and payments deserve real care. Here’s how Sail handles them, in plain language.

Your club's data is isolated

Sail is built on a professional-grade database (Postgres) with each club's data isolated from every other club's at the platform's core, by design rather than convention. Data is encrypted in transit, and encrypted at rest by our hosting provider. Our database is hosted in the United Kingdom, in London. Some of the services we use to run Sail process data elsewhere, and our privacy policy lists them.

Built for UK GDPR

Sail is designed for UK data-protection expectations: a lawful basis for processing, members' rights over their data, and clear policies. Our privacy and cookies policies are linked in the footer, and our Data Processing Agreement forms part of our contract with every club.

Payments run through Stripe

All online payments are processed by Stripe, one of the world's most trusted payment providers. Card details go directly to Stripe. Sail never sees or stores them.

Safeguarding and medical records, never paywalled

Safeguarding and medical information is included in every plan, at every price. We will never move a club's duty-of-care records behind a higher tier, and access to them is tightly controlled.

Access follows committee roles

Role-based access means each committee member sees what their role needs and nothing more. Sensitive records (safeguarding, medical, financial) are only visible to the people your club authorises.

AI with boundaries

SailAI is assistive and human-in-the-loop: it proposes, your committee approves. It is kept away from safeguarding and medical data, and it never drafts legal wording or makes financial decisions on its own.

Questions about security, data protection or safeguarding? They’re exactly the right questions for a committee to ask, so get in touch and we’ll answer them properly.

See it for yourself

The best way to judge Sail is to look around it.
